Last Saturday, I was in the middle of a dancefloor in the middle of a forest in north-east London singing to a bunch of happy party people, led by the loveliest bride and groom this side of England.
This was the set list:
Strange Things – Sharliza Jelita
Is That Your Underwear on the Floor – Sharliza Jelita
These Boots are Made for Walking – Nancy Sinatra
Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend – Marilyn Monroe
A Little Respect – Erasure
Good Life – Inner City
Freed from Desire – Gala
What is Love? – Haddaway
Dreamer – Livin’ Joy
No Go Pogo – Sharliza Jelita
You like jazz? I do. You like showtunes? I do too. You like 90s dance music? I do lots! So hire me for your party, wedding, grandfather’s birthday bash, club night, dinner and dance dos.
Just thought to share this with you too, something I found online:
“Forgiving helps you. Forgiveness is not saying, “What you did to me is okay.” It is saying, “I’m not going to let what you did to me ruin my happiness forever.” Forgiveness is the answer. It doesn’t mean you’re erasing the past, or forgetting what happened. It means you’re letting go of the resentment and pain, and instead choosing to learn from the incident and move on with your life.”
